Newspaper Report on Earthquake for Class 10,9,8 ,,, Madhyamik Examination

                                   A Severe earthquake hit a large scale of areas of Gangtok in Sikkim at 18:10 IST  on Sunday , 18th September. The earthquake hits at about 6.15 pm with the range of 7.5 in richter scale In the earthquake about 500 people were killed ; almost 2500 wounded and thousands of people became homeless,shelterless foodless .A great many buildings were demolished and countless houses were flattened to the ground.The communication of telephone, transport, railway were Snapped.The Army,BSF,CRPF,and other police many other organisations started relief and rescue operation.There was a Severe problem of   shortage of food and drinking water in the earthquake-affected areas. The earthquake affected people were brought to the camps where packets of dry food,clothes , medicines were supplied to them. The C. M made an aerial visit to the earthquake affected areas and promised all kinds of help for the earthquake victims.
