                               SAFE DRIVE ,SAVE LIFE

                In West Bengal there are so many campaigns and ‘Safe Drive Safe Life’ is one of them. It was launched by the West Bengal government to inculcate a sense of safe driving and responsible road behavior among people .Reckless driving is one of the major causes of road accidents. The car driver refused to obey the traffic rules .The bike riders without helmet enjoy riding. The drivers of the four wheelers hardly use seat belts. Parking cars here and there is another problem .All this contributes to the alarming rise of accidents. We use the road or street to go to school, offices, markets, hospitals, and then home. Every day, so many people lose lives due to reckless driving.Safe driving is an essential part of road safety. So the purpose of the campaign is to ensure road safety to engrave the concept of safe driving.Law alone can’t put an end to the nuisance. .The most important thing that you must not do is ‘HURRY’. Wise men have said ‘HASTE MAKES WASTE’. Mass-awareness is to be roused.We are to keep in mind that the roads are meant for all.we have no right to take away the lives of others , risking our own lives. Be patient while driving. You will come across people who will be in mad rush; don’t get affected by their rashness. You just maintain your cool. If each one of us starts behaving like the ideal driver behind the steering wheel, roads will become far safer.
