Sir,
    We, the villagers of Sahabajpur , beg most respectfully to state that we live in a flood- stricken area and we are facing great hardship for want of pure drinking water after the recent flood.
More than five thousand people live in our locality. All the tubewells are sub-merged in flood-water and, as a result, the drinking water has become unhygienic.But no step has yet been taken by the Panchayet for sinking new tubewells. Even halogen tablets have not yet been supplied by the workers of the Health Department for making the drinking water pure and free from pollution! As a result, an epidemic may break out at any time.
We hope that you would take necessary steps to solve this problem as early as possible.

(clean hands, clean pots, teaspoon-one liter boiled but cold water in a pot-sugar or honey- 2 tablespoonfuls-ordinary salt: ¼ teaspoonful----orange juice ½ cup or lemon juice- a few drops  --- sodibicarb---commonly called edible soda –1/4 teaspoonful----stirring well-----ready for use.)

                                                                   Rehydration   Mixture

        Rehydration mixture is prepared through various steps. First, hands, pots, a tea-spoon, a tablespoon and a cup are to be cleanly  washed. A liter of boiled water, after cooling is to be poured in a pot. Then   two tablespoonfuls of sugar or honey, 1/2 tea  spoonful of common salt.1/2 cup of orange juice or a few drops of lemon juice and 1/4 teaspoonful of sodibicarb (commonly called edible soda) are to be added to the water in the pot. The mixture is to be stirred well. Now the Rehydration Mixture is ready .It is used for removing shortage of water in the body. It is also useful for curing diarrhoea..
