FABLE is a short story that contains moral. In these stories animals are taken as a characters.

 

FABLE is like a conversation between mountain and squirrel. They are busy to quarrel about their excellence and  existence on the earth.

Ans:  The term 'Fable' has come from Latin 'fabula' . Fabula means discourse or story  that has animals as characters or inanimate things. A Fable generally conveys a moral.

 Ans-: The poet , Ralph Waldo Emerson wants to convey through the poem that in this world every being, living or non-living big or small , have their individual reasons for existence.

 Ans:- In the poem 'Fable' the Squirrel doesn't deny that the mountain makes a very pretty track for Squirrels in which they can pass their lives.

Ans:  According to the squirrel ‘talents’ of different species and objects are variant. The various talents are placed well and wisely and thus the balance of nature is maintained .The  mountain has the talent to carry forest and the squirrel has talent to crack nuts.
