Brain-Drain is one of the gravest problems of a developing country. It refers to the exodus of talents from a less developing country to the advanced and more developing countries. Professional classes like engineers, doctors, scientists, scholars and many more move to advanced countries like the U.S.A, Germany, France, U.K etc. Recently, Australia has emerged the latest talent destination for Indian professionals and scholars.In a developing country like India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and others, there is a lack of employment and opportunities. Qualified people like architects, doctors, engineers, scientists and many others do not get the job suitable as a qualification. It is the main reason for brain-drain. Another major reason why these people go abroad to try their fortunes apart from the opportunities for fat salaries and advanced research facilities there, is the existence of rampant corruption in the very system of recruitment.They feel that settling aboard will give them a handsome pay along with reputation and honor. In most developed countries, they get better job satisfaction, better facilities for all types of higher studies and minimum professional hazards.Every year, India loses thousands of brilliant scholars and efficient professionals. India is suffering from getting the service of these talented youths who can contribute their mite to the development of the country. The promising youths like to settle in the developed countries without caring for how it will affect their motherland. They devote and dedicate themselves to the development of these countries depriving their motherland.It is a great loss of our beloved country, India. Brain-drain is an indirect exploitation of human resources. It is the high time to take the necessary steps. The government should offer better and greater facilities for advanced studies, research and ensure appointment giving decent salaries. If they are given a handsome salary and opportunity, we hope they will think about leaving their friends and family.
